​As for the vetting process, we do not vet, but review that the person has things to offer. COECCCN is not responsible for checking for valid credentials, background checks, experience, etc. That is up to the people and programs looking to hire. We are simply a database for 'options.' Some programs may be looking for a PDIS coach and others not, some may be looking for a Montessori coach which isn't in the state system at all. We do have search criteria for many of these things, but it is up to the interested parties to be sure the Technical Assistance Professional has the training and credentials that they need, want, and can afford.
